I started the Blood Type diet because my doctors think I have an ulcer. Has anyone ever been to Disney and been able to follow this diet? Can I just tell them I am a type O and they will know?

I don't think so.. Most people wouldn't know what type o or types a are supposed to eat on this diet.
its a bit different if you are allergic to say peanuts most everyone knows what to do for that

But the Blood type diet doesn't seem to be something that would be common knowledge.

If you make a list of items you can or can not have it may be possible for the chefs to fix foods for you.

I would contact Special diets and explain what your food restrictions are
& they should be able to assist you.

I have read some about the Blood Type diet, but it is not a common type of diet or one that is easy to explain/understand.

I agree with the previous poster.
You would not be able to tell them you are type x and expect them to know what that means. You would need to be able to tell the chef/food service which food items or ingredients you need to avoid and which you are wanting to eat. That way, they can advise you on which food items on the menu meet your needs.

If you follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread, post #3 of that thread has information about special diets and how to contact WDW to find out more information about special diets.

Just curious but where do you find out more about the blood type diet? i am asking because they are no longer thinking that I have an ulcer - they gave me a picture of it after my EGD. I am on medication but am willing to try anything that might help it heal faster.

If you just do a google search, you can find out a lot.
It is a controversial diet, so you will see positive and negative information.

There is also a book.
