Can a blood sugar meter be brough into the parks? I'm asking since my brother has to use one

Not a problem. They will look in your bag but no one will stop you from bringing it into the parks.

He can store it in First Aid so he doesn't have to carry it & also leave any of his supplies he might need there that need refridgeration. I use First Aid for injections & they are wonderful. I have never had the least bit of trouble bringing my supplies in.

Hi, I am a diabetic and always carry my insulin pump , blood sugar meter and glucose tablets with me. They may ask what it is during the search. Just tell them. I stick mine in a fanny pack. It works great. Lisa

Thanks for asking, and for those that answered the question. I'm recently diagnosed and thinking about it was putting a damper on my trip. I take pills but I have to test often because I'm new to this.

I feel better now. :flower:

And I guess that's good because I have 10 days to go :cheer2: !

I have traveled with Diabetics before and you will be fine :flower: bring all your necessary things and also pack a few snacks to eat throughout the day to keep your sugar up as you will probably be walking alot. It never hindered us one bit :)
