A blood test called hemoglobin A1c can show your average blood sugar control over the past 3 months - what about others tests for Triglycerides, Cholesterol, etc.- do they also show the results for the past 3 months?

No, the Hemoglobin A1C is the only one that gives the average-the others are only a "that instant" read. They could be affected by fasting or non fasting though. HTH

So if you fast 12-24 hours, wouldn't the results be good?
