Blog is up about T Rex

Wow Kathy's pictures make me really want to eat there, or at least have a drink in the bar! Very very cool :thumbsup2. We are hoping to have lunch there on the day of our Mickey's Very Merry party in Dec. and the plan is to get there early ish. Hope we don't have to wait to long for a table but I have a feeling this is going to be quite a popular place!

I didn't want to like it(I don't care for Rainforest Cafe)but my 4yo DS would want to go there. He's in that stage where he thinks dinosaurs are great but thrilling because he's scared to death of them. I don't think he'd be able to eat anything, but might really enjoy himself. Either that or he'd need therapy. :confused3

Great photos, Kathy!

So --- this is really just another Rain Forest Cafe, but with a slightly different theme? I'm underwhelmed. :headache:

Great blog, and great photos Kathy. Boy, it really does look like an exact replica of the Rainforest Cafe though - except with dinosaurs. Even the Coral Reef bar looks like something I've seen in Rainforest Cafe. I wonder if the food is the same. Even my DD7 pooh: chicken nugget connoisseur couldn't eat them.

There were people outside when I was taking the pictures saying they thought that Rainforest moved to the other side. So there is confusion since it does look similar.

I don't know that it is going to be a great restaurant but at least you have another choice at WDW. It is pretty large so hopefully it will be easy to get last minute reservations when they start to take them.

Yay my son will love it. Thanks for the pictures. Finally something for boys!! It doesnt take much to excite me. :rotfl:

My son is so excited, he doesn't know what to do. Thanks for the pictures, Kathy!:yay:

While it looks like the theme is the only thing that is different, keep in mind that this is a restaurant but so many forget this fact. The menu is also different than Rainforest.

Also, with the ability to seat 620 people, it gives everyone at DTD another choice.

Great photos, Kathy! No way would I ever step foot in a place like this - the noise level alone would drive me insane - but I'm sure it will be popular with families!!
