Hi - Before our trip in august, I had some questions about upgrading from a hopper to an AP on a blockout day. I was told it wouldn't be a problem but advised to do it late in the day to avoid issues. I thought I'd post how it works for anyone considering doing this. There wasn't anything to worry about - worked like a charm!
When you upgrade from a hopper to a Deluxe AP on a blockout day, they give you a Blockout Day Exception voucher. It gives the Guest's name, their new AP number and the date the voucher is valid. You just have to show the voucher along with your new AP for re-admission that same day.
It worked great and there were no issues at all. So, rather than waiting until late in the day, do it early and take advantage of the discounts!
