Blockout dates?

Have I missed something? I have been a DVC member since 2000, and I was just trying to book my next vacation online via dvcmember.com, for the week of Thanksgiving. I get the message: You've selected a non-home Resort for dates that fall during the Home Resort Priority period. Please make another selection or change your dates. What the heck did I miss? This has never happened before. Anyone have an explanation? Is this a recent change?

If this was for your home resort, there may be a glitch in the system. I think we'e still more than 7 months out for a non-home resort.

That message is displayed if you try to book a resort you do not own and you are more than 7 months from your check-in date.

What exactly were you trying to book (resort and dates) and are you an owner at that resort?

ETA: As of right now, you can book a non-home resort for a check-in date of November 13, 2013. At 8am eastern time, the check-in date will advance to November 14, 2013.
