Blockout date parking question

Can I still park in the parking structure on a blockout date with my AP that includes parking?

No, if your AP is blocked out for admission, it is also blocked out for parking.

A Disneyland cast member told me when you want to use your AP when it is blocked out, you will have to pay an extra $30 w/ your AP.

i believe its $40 now... and yes, you have to pay for parking if your blocked out.

I think the blockout ticket fee is now actually $45 (!). If I lived locally I would definitely get the Premium pass if I could possibly afford it. But being an out-of-towner I never use the parking. So if I have to buy just 1 or even 2 blockout tickets the increase for Premium probably is not a price savings for me.

I understand why the parking isn't valid on blockout days but it's a little strange if you think about how everyone pays the same price for parking but some people aren't allowed to use it as often. I personally wouldn't have a reason to use the parking structure on a blockout day but it still seems sort of unfair.

I was just thinking about visiting some friends in OC at DTD on a weekend if I didn't have to pay for parking.

DTD has 3 hours free parking, plus 2 more hours if you get validation at a DTD restaurant or the AMC theater.
