We are staying 6 nights at WL, and I wanted to figure out a way to block off the crib so that DS (21 months) is a little isolated when he is in his crib. If he sees people, it's party-time, not nap-time.

I thought about getting some of those stick-on hooks (the kind that come off without damaging the surface) and hanging a sheet somehow.

Has anyone tried something like this or have any ideas?

Will you have another child with you?

If you do have one adult take that child swimming or for a walk and the other adult can sit out on the balcony with the shades closed & the door cracked open a bit.

We did that at the Poly when our oldest was 15 months old. We got her to sleep & then sat outside. DH & I took turns leaving (we were on the bottom floor so we kept the front door locked).

The last time my dh & both kids took a nap & once they were passed out, I left to do laundry or swim.

We haven't stayed at WL yet (although that problem will be fixed in 17 days!:santa: ) but at the Poly, we pushed the crib into the closet area and opened the bathroom door to create a bit of a barrier. I'm not sure if that will work at WL, as the rooms are a little smaller. I like the idea of the hooks and a sheet, although my kids would have had that down in 2 seconds flat. Do you have a bunk bed foom? How abour making a "fort by hanging 2 sheets off the top bunk...one between the child on the bottom bunk and the crib, and another shielding the crib from the queen bed. It will be tough to move around, but once everyone's down for the night you should be all set

We did this -
We used the hooks to hang a shower curtain across the entrance hallway (by the closets), blocking a little area for DS. However, we only did this for a night. We didn't like that we couldn't get out of the room when we blocked it off, and DS really didn't like being in there. Also, the WL is set up so that you can easily tuck the pack-n-play right in the area with the sinks (outside the bathroom) - there's privacy, they can't see you in the main area of the room, you can sneak past them to use the bathroom if necessary, and one parent can still go in and out while they are sleeping.
