Block party on the 10th

Hey neighbors! We just got home. We went to the block party last week and had a ball. Got our visors, yippee, and same pins as last year. I didn't see any dissers, though. Was anyone there? I bet you saw my son. He was the little one hanging out with the basketball toss guys on stilts, trying to get people to toss the balls into his hat.

Thanks for the info. We are here now.....what time on Thursday is the Block Party. We are off site for a few days and get to OKW on Friday. Do we need an invitation to attend?

We were there and I did see your son. I am not sure that anything we did would have been too "identifying." We were excited to get the visors and pins also. Unfortunately we didn't win anything else.

We also attended the Welcome Home Wednesday at the Boardwalk on Wednesday and they gave away ball caps. All in all a nice week for gifts.

The block party is held on Thursdays in the summer from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Pleasure Island. You don't need an invite, but you do need your membership card.

Are you allowed to bring guests to the block party? If so, how many? My husband and I are members and we will be travelling with my family. In total, there are 6 adults and 2 kids. We would like to go and check it out, but generally tend to stick together at WDW, so if guests aren't allowed then we will probably skip it. I have a nephew who is 6 and a niece who is 4. Is it worth it for them? Is there enough to do there to warrant going? Thanks.

I would think you wont have any trouble bringing your family with you.

Your kids will have fun. There are treats and games and music.
