Blizzard Beach?

We leave for WDW in 10 days!!

We will be visiting Blizzard Beach for the 1st time ever. Been to WDW many, many times but never made it to BB. Anyway, what do you love or not love about the place. I've read a little bit about it but I want some opinions from the board. We are DH, Me, 4 kids DD's 23, 10, 7 and DS 13. Will the whole family enjoy it? or just the older kids?

Everyone in your party will love Blizzard Beach. There is something for everyone to do, from Summit Plummet to the Family Raft Ride. Have a great time.

BTW - Blizzard Beach as voted the #2 best water park in the country by The Travel Channell.

we REALLY enjoyed BB, I wasn't at all bothered about going there, the theme didn't appeal to me and I thought it would just be lots of white concrete everywhere, but I have to say I was wrong.
I think it is much better than Typhoon Lagoon for younger ones, although your youngest is older than my dd, but we were very impressed. There is a great area for under 5's, then another area for pre-teens, as well as all the big rides. The Family Raft ride is superb - we also tried the family raft ride at TL and were very disappointed, it didn't compare at all.

I think there is somethign for everyone at this park

It is beyond fantastic...just a wonderful park! All ages will love it....the kiddie section is fabulous and the adult rides are great.
The ride (I forget the name) where you lay down on a mat and go down slides right next to each other is one of our favorites because the whole family lines up right next to each other and "races" down.
One bit of advice....the line for the "ski lift" that takes you up to the three highest rides can be long and slow-moving. If you can take the walk and the stairs, you are much better off. You'll be a little tired, but you can probably get in 2-to-3 rides down in the time it would take you to go up the ski lift once!
Beyond that, enjoy it...you will absolutely love this park!
