Next infant question:

Have any of you done BB with an infant? Ours will be 11 months old when we visit and our DD's really want to go, but we need to know if this is feasable with the baby.

If you have taken a baby there, what "rides" was the baby able to go on, and how did your family manage their time at the park?

Thanks for the advice.

We were there in August with a 9 mth old. He could play in the kiddie area and do the lazy river, but that was all. I was nursing at the time so I pretty much stayed with him and my husband took the older 2 on everything. FYI the family raft ride would not let us on with him and we had walked to the top and waited in line. Oh well, may next time. The waves in the wave pool knocked him around so that didn't work out either. Overall we had a good day. He napped in his stroller part of the time and enjoyed just splashing in the shallow pools.

Our DS was 15 months old and not walking when we went to BB. He loved it!! We used the divide and conquer method with DH staying with the two boys in the kiddie area and DD and I toured the park. We would check in with them every hour or so and make sure everyone was still happy. There were plenty of spots with just a few inches of water which he happily splashed in all day.

We did take the baby on the family raft ride (teamboat springs??). There is no height restriction on it but the chair lift has a 33 inch restriction if I remember correctly. DS was 33 3/4 inches...it was hilarious watching them measure him. He wasn't walking yet and he kept bending his knees every time the CM put the stick next to him. Lots of people on the ground were pointing up at us. I figured they were either saying "look at that cute baby on the chair lift" or "look at that crazy mother taking a baby on the chair lift". It was fun, I just held on to him and he was fine...much better than my 3 year old.

We also took him on the lazy river. He sat on my belly and I tried my best to avoid all the water squirty things getting him in the face.

Go and have fun!!
