Can anyone give me advice on bringing my 2½-year-old daughter to BB? I was wondering about Teamboat Springs and any of the other tube rides...or am I being stupid just thinking about them? Thanks for any advice!

I would say it would depend on her, and her wanting to go on them. I know there are height requierments for some of the slides. We took my DS to TL about a month before his 3rd birthday. He was 40 inches tall at the time. He went on the lazy river tube ride that goes arond the park, and we took him on the big family (6 person) tube ride. There was one other one that we started to go up it was one person to a tube and decided that it would be too much for him. They do have lifevest at the water parks. I do not remember if they charged you or if you just had to leave a deposit. He did have a lot of fun in the toddler section. I would say you know your child best, if she is tall enough to go and the ride and you feel comfortable with it I would let her go. Hope this helps some. :)

My 6 year old daughter preferred the tamer things at Typhoon Lagoon. The family ride there just bumps and sloshes a short distance.. the one at BB is fast, long and scary for most toddlers.

Both have good small child/toddler play areas though... the TL area has a tube and a body slide, and the BB area has 3 or 4 slides... and both have several very small toddler slides that are only 3' long.
