When I view allears I see that typhoon lagoon does not officially allow coolers.

And Blizzard Beach does allow coolers.

WHY is that? :confused3

In my mind it is because BB is a BEACH, and therefore if you are going to a beach, you need a cooler. Or am I just reading too much into this? :rotfl2:

Thought I would ask the question to the "experts".

I carried my soft-sided cooler(a little larger than the average lunchbox) right in at Typhoon Lagoon last week. No one batted an eye, but a CM at the gate checked it to be sure it did not contain any glass containers. While there, we witnessed MANY coolers larger than ours. A group of local after-school program kids arrived at 10 AM with 4 large coolers, and parked themselves under a shelter with picnic tables. The 8 camp counselors each had a handle of a cooler that was obviously very heavy. At @ noon, all 30+ kids had lunch from the coolers, and it seemed like they had done this before.

Immediately after 9/11, coolers were not being allowed at the water parks. Sometime in 2002, they relaxed the rule and began allowing them again. We took a medium sized one on our last trip in 2004 for drinks.
