Hi we are going to Blizzard Beach this Saturday! We will be there at Rope Drop in our 1 piece bathing suits. What tips do you have to share?
Is there a chicken exit for Summit Plummet?

Chicken exit for summit plummet goes straight down. :) the view from the top is awesome and worth the 5 seconds of fear on the way down. Enjoy BB. It's a ton of fun. Our 5 year old loves it there.

DS9 wants to ride it and I will try to be brave and do it too!
Thinking the screaming will really be a good stress reliever after this past week at work!

Lol yep it'll make you scream. The way my wife looked at summit plummet was "No way I am doing it but I want to see the view" She did it anyway and it was over in 5 seconds. Lol.

FWIW, I tried the "mini-version" at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ this summer (a friend gets free passes), and as I have a healthy fear of heights, I decided to conquer my fear and give it a try. Glad I did. Not as high as SP, but high enough to work with. View up at the top fairly decent, and the ride down was like 2 seconds. So I did it again. Next year (should we go) I'm definitely doing SP.

We were at Bilzzard Beach this last Saturday for the first time. It wasn't busy at all even though it was a Saturday. The intertubes in the wave pool were kind of hard to get, so you might want to do that first, but nothing else had crazy lines and it was 90 last Saturday. You will want to take that chairlift up though because climbing the stairs gets tiring and the Red tube slides require the walk up.

We had never done the waterparks before but they were much more fun than we thought. Fun just to do a few slides then float on the lazy river for awhile then repeat.

But I have to say my favorite thing in either water park was the snorkeling with Sharks at Typhoon Lagoon. I can't believe more people don't hype that activity. That was so amazing.

One other comment, if by some chance it is cool on Saturday morning, don't hesitate to do the Winter Summerland mini-golf for awhile until it warms up. Separate entrance but if you get Water Park and More it is an activity choice.

We had the water park and more and did that from 10-11am just to make sure we were plenty hot before getting in the water.

I hadn't been on SP for 3 years and forgot how high it was! But I had convinced both my friend and myself to do it at least once, first thing so as not to chicken out. It was too much of a shock for either of us to scream in the way down! Totally worth it though. We were there two Sundays ago and it was not crowded except for the main pool. Love Love Love the lazy river and spent most of our time there. Now that it is all over I need to change the ticker.

You don't want to take the "Walk of Shame" on Summit Plummit...so many stairs! I guess you could ride the chairlift down maybe.

When I was little, our local waterpark had a slide like SP (not nearly as tall but straight down). I had chickened out on it many times, but once I finally got to where I was hanging on the bar. I was scared stupid, but i had a moment of clarity. I wanted to be on the ground more than anything. The fastest way to the ground was to just let go. I did. I lived. I did it ten more times that day. Try not to let the fear stop you. Even if you do hate it, it's over in 3 seconds. Good luck!
