Blizzard Beach~Summit Plummet??

My DD8 and DS5 were just looking through the WDW for kids by kids and saw the picture of Summit Plummet. They say that they want to go on it. I went on this about 5 years ago and I remember that it was very scary to be at the top looking down it so I really think that they would chicken out once the got up there. But just to be prepared, is there a height or age requirment for this slide? Thank you!

Someone will be able to tell you the height requirement. but every kid I have ever seen love it. Usually more than the adults. My 7 year old DD went down it numerous times. I went down it twice and had the biggest bruise you have ever seen on my backside, but it was fun. Your kids will love it.

Summit Plummet has a 48" minimum height requirement, as do the Slush Gusher and Downhill Double Dipper.

My DD did it at age 8 with no concerns whatsoever, but a teenage girl right ahead of us in line chickened out at the last minute (her BF gave her plenty of grief when he saw my DD waiting). She would have done it a few more times, but there was a 60 minute wait (this was in July).

SP is a bit intense, but I found the Slush Gusher a much more painful experience. SP is a straight drop (be prepared for a possible wedgie), but I went airborne and came back down hard on the hump in the middle of SG. Ouch!

Yep, there's a 48" height requirement. It's a lot of fun!
