Blizzard Beach Summer?

I agree...no hope at this point. Feels very similar to last yr hoping for TL to open. They have proven they don't really have to do anything to get ppl. to come so why waste the money. They get to save on operating costs as opposed to just doing this during the regular refurbishment time.

While it does feel like that, I don't believe they want to have it closed for peak season. Things are all slowly coming back in place. Construction projects alot of places are a mess right now to do shortages of basically every kind, things are just taking longer.

I don't know... I think they see it as a win for them. They selling the water park addon for the same price with only water park open, just like last yr. I think if they wanted to open it, they certainly could have.

I disagree. The work needed done. There bigger fail was ignoring the maintenance on them for that solid year both were closed.

They also make money running the parks, all those cabana sales are easy money, food (the food places are slammed all day at those parks) , so I do think they would prefer both open for summer.

So it is looking increasingly likely that Blizzard Beach is going to be closed this summer. Pretty poor show, and will mean Typhoon Lagoon will be even busier this summer.

On a personal level, we are gutted, as this summer will be our last family trip to WDW, and we will never have made it to Blizzard Beach.
