We just returned from WDW yesterday and wanted to pass along something that I overheard a CM tell a guest about why it is taking so long for Blizzard Beach to reopen. (Forgive me if this information was already posted.)
He said that a water line had broken and they had to take out a major section of the park to repair it. He went on to say that at the time they built the park, they chose the "cheapest" bid and have since spent about as much on repairs as it initially cost to build the park!!!
We went to TL (our first choice anyway) last Wednesday and it was packed! They had posted the hours at 10:00-5:00 but announced during the day that they were going to keep the park open an extra hour.
