Blizzard Beach questions

I've never been to either waterpark, but I've decided to go to Blizzard Beach. We will have DS5 with us and I've read that it has a better kids area. Here are my questions:

1. How crowded is it in early May?

2. If you get there at opening and get a shady seat and you leave your things on it while playing, do you have problems with people stealing your chairs?

3. Can you recommend good food or snacks at the park?

4. Is it the norm to rent a locker to leave your items in it, or can we just leave our things at our chairs?

Early May should be OK because many schools are still in session. Having said that, it is not low season, but you should be OK.

You should have no problems with people stealing your chairs if you get a good one. But do get there early to pick your perfect spot. When it's not too busy, you can always get a shady area regardless of when you go.

I like to rent a locker for things like my wallet, cellphone and keys. While I'm sure no one would mess with them if I left them in a backpack by my chair, why risk it? It's $5 (after you get your deposit back) for a small locker and a small locker is plenty big.

Sorry I can't suggest any good places to eat there, they are all fairly standard counter service restaurants with nothing that sticks in my mind as being magically delicious. I usually eat the chicken wrap which is fine.

3. The mini donuts are to die for!! mmmmm donuts........There is a little cart that sells them and you have to look for it but it is worth every penny. And how ever many you think you want order double.
