Which is your favorite and why?

Never been to BB, but we like TL alot. DS would never leave the wave pool if he didnt have to. I also like the theming at TL.

I haven't been to TL, but we went to BB for the first time in August and we loved it! My kids are 10 and 4, and I think what I liked the most about it was that BOTH kids had a fabulous time. Tike's Peak, the little kid area, is as great to a 4 year old as Slush Gusher is to a 10 year old. I have to admit, I had a blast on all the water rides, too. The Family raft ride was terrific. We went for early opening and DD was the first person down Slush Gusher. I thought we'd be there for 2 hours or so....but it was closer to 5 hours.

BB is my favorite because of theme - totally unique - and better slides, but TL has Crush-n-Gusher now and that is a solid reason to hit TL over BB.

I've never been to TL either, but we LOVE BB!! My DH and I went there while we were in the World for our honeymoon and ended up spending almost all day there! Its definitely worth the extra money and time, especially in the hot months!

Until our last trip it was always TL! But now, for a family trip, I'd say BB!

But I don't like the kid's area at TL. At BB it's all very central, you can always see the kids from your sun lounger when they're riding the slides. But at TL, they disappear out of sight and you have NO idea where they are, or if they're even still in the kid's area, so you have to stick with them at all times.

It's not an issue for me, as my DD was 13 months on our last trip and so I was with her all the time anyway. But my SIL has two older kids (5) who wanted to be able to have a bit of independence, but they didn't get it at all at TL!!

We went to both on the same day in April 2005. We all liked both -- my DS14 liked the TL Wave Pool best of everything -- I (afraid of heights, believe it or not!) liked Summit Plummet at BB best of everything. My DS11 liked BB best, his DF11 liked BB best, and my DS14's DF13 liked BB best -- but we all liked both a lot anyway!

All of that is just to say it depends on the person -- both places are great!

With the shark tank and Crush'n Gusher, TL edges out BB for us. But BB is also great fun, with the family raft ride and the runoff rapids slides being better than their equivalent at TL.
