Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon

Who's been to both? Which one did you like better and why?

Welcome to the DIS!! I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon, but I am going to Blizzard Beach soon, I LOVED it!! I"m going back to tl and swim with the sharks in August!! Bb looks fun too!!

I have been to both but i like bb better. I havent gone in about 6 years though.Oh and all you VMK fans Water park month is now.

i like TL better they have fab watercoasters a brilliant wave-pool and some other good rides but i guess if it is the waterslides your after BB is better

i love blzzard beach the most haven't really been a fan of the wave pool also they have that kids area with floating ice blocks, water slides and a T bar (i was too tall to go on it last time boo hoo ) also i love going around the cross country creek and since it has more things which splash you (a house which sneezes water, freezing cold waterfalls, water cannons, etc.) and on a hot summer would be better to go too. Also there are more places to sit without sand yay and the ski lift that's cool

I don't really remember much because the last time I went to both was 2 years ago (my memory sucks this way). But... from what I recall, I think Typhoon Lagoon was my favorite.

it so has to be BB for me, its just so much more better the family raft ride it so much more better than the one at TL. The one at TL is tiny, doesn't last long at all.
BB has so much more the Lazy River, the huge slides, the tubes, the pool, the ski lift. even thou TL has most of it, theres is just smaller and not as good, TlL is only good for if u like to go in the pool with huge waves and drown like it nearly did, oh and it has the crusher and gusher thing but i never got to go on that the queue was HUGE!!!

more crowded??? um well i go in august i would say they but OK, but if u want a sun lounger to get there early

the lazy rivers u normally get stick on or cant get a ring

My personal favorite is Typhoon Lagoon.
I loved swimming with the sharks and the tube slides. I haven't been on crush n' gusher yet...but Hopefull will on my next trip.
I also LOVE lazy rivers...I could stay in that ALL day

TL's more relaxed, whereas BB is very thrill ride centred, so I guess it depends what kinda mood you're in.
It was raining really bad when we went to BB, so you couldn't really enjoy it as much as TL!
Hopefully this year I'll get to go on Summit Plummet!!

My favorite has to be blizzard Beach because it has a lot of water rides than typhoon lagoon but typhoon lagoon has a better wave pool than anything...

I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon because I burn to easily and if I go to Bilzzard Beach where everything is white, so the sun can bounce off it, I'd turn into a cherry. So keep in mind if you burn easily you might just want to go to Typhoon Lagoon. It's really fun. There's a lot to do there.
