We are going in March and taking our 3 1/2 year old and 1 year old. They love to play in the water and the 3 1/2 year old is actually a pretty good swimmer for her age. We would like to take them to one of the water parks. They will only be in the section for kids. So my question- which kid's section is better- Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

I agree...Typhoon Lagoon. Now that our DD is 10 we're Blizzard Beachers.

I think BB has the better kiddie area. BB kids area is it's own section apart with great theming, with only a couple ways in and out, spread out with lots of seating, very well supervised, lots of little slides and squirting water but play areas as well, just over the bridge from the Ski Patrol area or food services, and close to entrance to lazy river. Everthing you need is close by. Wave pool is gently bobbing so you can take the kids in and enjoy. Overall BB has that cartoon cute style that kids just love.

TL was originally a tiny spot with only a couple play things and on the main path, and when the expanded it they did not relocate. It is on the main path, always feels chaotic and crowded. I would be spending my day chasing and worrying. Seems more sand and play oriented rather than water. In addtion the wave pool there is so powerful it is useless for small children. I feel like the park overall is beautiful, tropical and geared for older kids and adults.
