Not sure if this is the place to ask....but which water park is better or more child friendly for a 3 YO....thanks in advance! (There will also be a 9, 11 and 15 YO (girls) but tend to like the more tamer slides and rides.)

Ooooo, good question!! I'd like to hear the answer too!!!

BB's kiddie area appears to be much better than the one at TL. The wave pool looks a lot more kid friendly as well.

Thanks for the info Cardaway....but out of all these people...there HAVE to be some more opinions..;)

I think kids would get a kick out of playing in the melted "snow" as well. The theming is much better at BB IMO.

yeah, I think it depends on the age. I think BB is bigger and more fun but not sure a 3 yr old could do most of it. My ds loved TL's too. He was grabbing his tube and going down the slides over and over and over. it was hilarious. I think that area might have been better for a 3 yr old. I don't think you'll go wrong at either of them;)

We went to BB when the kids were 2,3 and 4 and they all loved it. Can't speak for TL though. There was so much great stuff for them to do and they still talk about it!

For the 3 YO I think either one will be a safe bet. For the 9, 11 & 15 YOs that prefer the tamer slides I'd opt for Typhoon Lagoon. When I went to both water parks as a newlywed 22 year old who prefered tamer slides, I enjoyed TL much more than BB. I remember there being a lot more taller speed slides at BB than TL. In my opinion, TL was a little more tame. Plus the reef thing was kinda neat!

I was told by a cast member at BWV that TL is better for smaller children but either would be fine but TL has a bigger area for smaller kids. (my older girls had fun in the kid area Keetchakiddie Creek) TL is fine for me too... I don't want to feel like I am free falling with no seat belt- ya I am a chicken.

I'd say TL, too. I agree that BB has more wilder slides. TL also has the great wave pool that's sort of like a beach.

Our three kids (currently 7, 10, 14) prefer BB over TL. Theres more for them to do, and the themed kid areas are larger at BB.

LOL!! You ask for opinions and you get them....split pretty much 50/50:rotfl:

Keep the info coming...good to hear what everybody has to say about both of them....also good to know it seems that they both have things to offer for everyone.
