Ok so as many of you know we will be in disney for 2 weeks following the wedding for our honeymoon. I am thinking about if we should go visit the water parks. I have never been to them before and I do like water parks so it would be neat to go. we are annual pass holders and someone on the attractions and strategies board say to upgrade to premiere if we were going to go more than once because it is only $130 +tax. My thing is since I have never been to them I don't know much about the parks, what the vibes are like, what each park has, which has more kids and all that stuff. I also don't know when the best time of day is to go. So it is hard to decide which one to go to or any of that.

So I am asking you lovely ladies that have been which one should we go to let's say we are only going to carve out one day for a water park which one do you recommend and why for the honeymoon?

Obviously if we can go to both we will but I would like to go to the best one first in case we don't go again. Or if maybe it is not something we should do then we won't waste the money. Looking forward to your opinions. I wanted to ask this here and not the other boards because you guys get honeymoons better or should I say disneymoons!

Just want to mention that it would be less expensive to buy the AP for the waterparks, then to do the add on.

We picked one water park for our honeymoon and just bought 1-day tickets, since we didn't know how often we'd be using our (regular) annual passes or whether we'd ever want to go back. This turned out to be a good decision when we discovered I am terrified of having my head under water for extended periods and really don't enjoy being shot through bumpy, water-filled tubes wearing next to nothing! :rotfl:

We picked Typhoon Lagoon because it also had the snorkeling option. Having since been to Blizzard Beach, I think the themeing there is more interesting, but Typhoon Lagoon probably gave us the most bang for our buck.

Depends what you're after. We tend not to do the tube slides, preferring the lazy river and the main wave pool. Typhoon Lagoon is best for us for that reason. If you like the thrill slides, then Blizzard Beach is probably more your thing.

They both offer a lot of fun! We went to Blizzard Beach on our honeymoon since we had both already been to Typhoon. I personally enjoyed myself more at Blizzard, but I think it was because I was on my honeymoon and would have had a wonderful time no matter what. If a waterpark at Disney isn't something you have experienced yet, definitely try it out, even if it costs a bit more. Your honeymoon is your time to do something special and different!
