We have never been to a water park at Disney and was wondering if you all could give me some ideas of which would be best for us. We might try both on the same day, but are really interested in finding out which one would fit us.

Thanks

Please note that if you try both in the same day, you'll need to either pay admission twice or use up two "plus" features on your tickets.

You can't get a water park "hopper" pass unless you buy an annual.

Thanks for the reply, we are PAP so it won't be a problem to jump from one to the other (expect the crowds). If we really are having a good time at the first one, I don't think that we would leave, that is why I am wondering which might fit us the best.

Thanks

never been to bb, but TL has the shark reef where you can snorkle with the fish and sharks. It's fun.. Enjoy

My DS and DD, now 12 and 10, really like Typhoon Lagoon. DS really liked the wave pool and DD liked the lazy river. (Mom could have had something to do with that! :) ) I would start there.

Go with TL!! BB always seems to be crowded! :crowded: All of the rides are very close together, so u may think you are a line for one ride and end up on a different. all the lines branch off from another so it it always crowded at the top of the mountain! TL is much more spread out and the lines are less bunched up! (its not too spread, so it doesnt take forever to get from one slide to an other)!

Another vote for TL -- especially with the age of your kids. The older kids (teens) really like BB -- I think its because of the faster/higher waterslides!

Thanks for the replies, do you think that there is enough of a variety for all the different ages at T.Lagoon.

Tom pirate:

Absolutely there is variety. My kids 11 and 6 at the time enjoyed every inch of T.L. from the smaller kids slides to the biggest. My DH was the biggest kid actually :teeth: , he kept right up with them.

T.L. is very tropical and layed out very nice. I could watch my youngest on the set of 3 small slides to the left (can't remember the names of the them) while up to my waist in the wave pool and see my oldest on the beach to my right.

It's beautiful and has something for everyone in you're family :flower: 33

I think you're family will really enjoy this park.

Love TL and haven't been to BB since 1997.

TL is currently closed for a refurb so we are having to make do with BB.

TL is more relaxed, more a chillin' place.

BB has the bigger and faster slides.

Is it to spread out, for all the different ages in our family? I know we will be spending a lot of time at the beach and wave pool with our youngest, but we also want to be able to get around with the other two princesses. I can see myself getting into trouble with the Queen if I just take off with the older two, I know just don't take off but that is much easier said than done. Besides the lazy river, are there family slides that we can all do together, our youngest is not afraid of anything. In fact her favorite ride is Goofys rollercoater.

Thanks

Tom pirate:

Yes, I think you can do all those things. Here's what worked for us.

For the youngest, one parent would go down a slide or one of slides to get to the bottom first, then we'd look for him coming off of the slide and the 2nd parent would follow. Easily done, that way no child is ever without an adult.

Our oldest, 10 at the time, would want to do everything the youngest was doing and vice versa, they had SO much fun. BB was the highlight of the week for all of us.

Some slides have 3 different endings, so 3 of you could each go down together but come out to the right or left of each other. The family raft ride is a blast, but real short in everyone's opinion.

It's such a relaxing place, you really can't find anything to worry about there. We'll be there in April and can't wait to go again :goodvibes

Go without hesitation, you won't regret it and let us know how much fun you all had :teeth:

Are there any height requirements for the slides, I tried checking on the website for T.L. and could not find any. I think with all your help that we have decided on Typhoon Lagoon, thanks again for all your help.
