Blizzard anyone?

Hi everyone! I live on the South Shore of MA. The news said at 10 am that our town had 24in. It hasn't stopped yet, at 2:25. Dh and DB used DB snow blower last night at about 11 and this am. Then went and did my aunt. They have already canceled school for tomorrow, figures DH & I were dropping one of our cars off for repair, so we HAD planned on taking the day for ourselves. Oh well.

I hope no football fans loose their electricity, a friend of ours has since last night.

I guess we got about 14 inches. I am not plowed out yet!.... Hubby is a bus driver in Manhattan and he stayed there last night and is also not coming home tonight and I couldn't get out there with 2 small kids. Too much snow for me!... I am snowbound I guess!.... My neighbor is going to have someone come plow us out.

I'm in RI and we have about 18 Inches. I work in a school and it's cancelled for tomorrow. My mom lives in FL on the west coast and it is about 56 there. It's expected to go into the 20's tonight in FL.

I would take a daytime high of 56 and in the 20s tonight. It hasn't hit 20s as a daytime high in over a week here in ME. It's stopped snowing but the wind coming off the ocean is still atrocious. After digging our the cars, walked out to the beach to check for erosion, brrrr. I have snow INSIDE my deck door on the side that faces the bay. I wonder if the vacuum cleaner will pick it up? I wonder what will happen to the vacuum cleaner when it melts?
BTW- My landlady is in Sarasota for the winter but I've emailed her pictures.

MA you are getting slammed!!! We only had a 12-15 inches, but already broke the new snowblower! Fixed again too!! We were ready, but got less than anticipated. School tomorrow!!! But it is COLD even inside!!!

Western Mass gotabout 18 inches. dh and friends spent the morning snowplowing the neighborhood. Wind really picked up this afternoon and evening, couldn't let the dog out the back door, it froze shut.

Still stuck here at work in medford,ma buried in snow waiting forn someone to show up to let me go home!!
