YES!k It can be used for chafing and I have used it for chafing and it worked great!

The active ingredient in Bodyglide is zinc oxide, if that helps anyone. There's probably a generic version out there somewhere. (It's that the white stuff people used to put on their noses as sunblock.) It's also the active ingredient in a lot of diaper rash creams, so folks with kids might have some of that stuff just lying around the house.

Where in a store do you find Bodyglide? I have never been able to find moleskin for my Disney trips until someone posting on this thread mentioned it was by Dr Scholls. That was the "jog" that I needed to be able to find it. I have always been looking with the bandaids. I never thought to look with the foot care products! :scratchin So, before I pull my hair out trying to find Bodyglide, I should probably find out where to look.

You might try going to the Bodyglide website -- there's a place on there where you can put in your zip code and it will tell you where you can get it in your area. The only place I could get it here is at a bike shop. (Wasn't at Dick's for some reason.)

Thanks for the suggestions. I did look at their website & it looks like EMS & the Sports Authority also carry it in my area. I'm glad I asked all of you. I would never had thought to look in these stores. I would have spent my time looking in the local pharmacies. Thanks again!!!

Dollar General keeps Moleskin by the sheet for.of course, one dollar!

I found that my socks gave me blisters on my little toes. They were the "cushioned" running kind that I bought a couple of weeks before our trip and they rubbed the wrong way on my pinky toes. So make sure you wear comfy socks that don't rub anywhere. I put Bodyglide on my toes and changed to my regular socks and they felt a lot better.
