Blink Change

Has anyone logged into Blink recently? They have completely revamped the site. You cannot do searches and the ability to get any free points seems to be very slim.

That does not make me happy at all. I am about 4,000 points away from redeeming for a $15.00 WebCertificate. I figured if I clicked every day, all possible links, then I'd cash out and be done. Now... oh I'm just so mad. I don't need or want to sign up for credit cards, record clubs (oops, CD clubs ... just gave away how I old I am) and the like. Maybe I'll just cash in for where I'm at and take a loss on it.

Of course I was busy with other stuff the last week or two, so I haven't visited Blink since July 22 (didn't think it was that long, but I looked at my account).

From what I can figure out, you can click on all the Platinum Offers and get 5 points each. That added up to 115 points for me. None of the Gold Offers (that I clicked on anyway, and I wasn't about to click on them all today) gave me any points. If there's anything hidden, I guess someone else will find it.

I've got just over 101K in points right now. Guess I'll start thinking about cashing out sooner rather than later.

I went to click on blink and found that its basically worthless now as a reward program unless you buy alot. The search points are gone and who knows how long it will be there before it disappears. This really stinks. So much for reward programs.

That was sudden! I just did Blink this afternoon (Tuesday the 5th) and it was normal -- I actually got a ton of slots points, in fact. And tonight it's completely changed! This stinks.

I'm at 28,000 points and I doubt if I'm going to bother to try and finish my usual 42,000 point Amazon award. At 115 points per day, it's going to take forever...

I can't believe they did this. I used to really like Blink. Looks like another one bites the dust.

I'm sooooo glad a cashed out a few weeks ago! It was starting to pay so good again. I have to say I am very disapointed in this change by Blink!

I will spend some more time with it this weekend to see if I think it's worth it anymore.

Boy, go on vacation and another one bites the dust! I need a few more points to get to the next level, I'm cashing out and then this one is done.

I don't think I'm going to make it to another $5 Webbie. I still need 40,000 points. I will NOT do anythink beside visits to get the points.

I'll just hang on to my account until they close it or change again.

It really is a shame.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't been too diligent about working on my Blink account. I work MyPoints everyday, but Blink has been on the hit or miss side. I cashed out my 42,000 points for an Amazon gift certificate. I will use it for something this Christmas. I will dump my association with Blink as soon as the card arrives. Thanks again. Mickey
