Blender for studio?

We are heading down to the world in July for a conference. We are staying 3 nights at OKW and 3 nights at VBR. Since it is in the middle of summer I need to have my margaritas. I know I read that you can request a blender, but are they available for studios or only villas with a kitchen? I'm just trying to figure out if I need to go to Target or WalMart to buy a cheap blender.

Also, where's the closest place for buying hard alcohol near WDW?

Not sure about requesting a blender, I keep one in my Owners Locker. You can get hard liquor in the gift shops. They have a small selection in a cabinet behind the counter usually. I am not sure of the pricing or sizes available.

the note in the room that tells what should be there - definitely says you can request one.

(it is hidden at BLT) - but the others have it so you can see it.

The notice in a BLT villa is located in the kitchen on a cabinet door. Only problem with that it was an upper cabinet door and I would have needed a step stool to read it as it was so far away, and of course so well lit.

But I read on a BLT post that a Disboard DVC member requested and received from Mousekeeping a blender for his BLT studio.

Thank you all for your replies. I'll ask first and hopefully they'll bring me one.

As for the liquor, we will have a car so getting to a "liquor store" will not be a problem, if someone can point me in the right direction.
