Has anyone found any blank luggage tags lately? I am having trouble finding them.

Thanks!

Thanks! I am looking for the empty ones to put DISigns into. After I print some DISigns as luggage tags, what do I do with them? I could laminate them, but where do I get the straps?

Hi Erin
I just Made Tink766 tags --turned out GREAT!!!--Thanks Jo

You just print --laminate and then use ribbon to tie onto the luggage.
Most Staples -Kinkos and other office stores will laminate,,my Kinkos store has a luggage cover which slides right over the tag and then laminates it. Most Walmart stores sell plain--see through luggage tag covers also.

I've heard people here talk about using baseball card covers to cover a luggage tag. Anyone know the price differences?

They have clear self-laminating ones at Target...4 in a pack for 3.99..just bought mine today, with the luggage section!!

I use the hard (not soft) baseball covers and zip ties (also called cable ties) you can get 35 hard baseball covers at wal-mart for under $3 and cable ties are very cheap. You can find them in the hardware section...usually they come in packs of 20 or more and they are also just a few dollars. They will not unravel or come off of your luggage like ribbon and are extremely sturdy.

You can also use baseball covers to make name tags with lanyards for your children to wear when you are at the parks with all of your contact information on the back in case they get lost. You don't have to put their name on it...you can just put their favorite character on the front. I just made 130 name tags for Vacation Bible School and they will last the week because they are so sturdy. Luggage Tags are fun to make and give as party favors. I make trading cards and frigerator magnets with them after b-day parties with pictures of each child that attended to send as a thank you.
