Blackout Dates!

Okay I don't start my program until 8/9/10 but my family is planning their vacation to come visit me. Now the question is are there any blackout dates for October. My sister has to put in her vacation now and they know they want to come down in October. I know I can't do anything until I get there but I need to know if anyone knows what days I can't get them in or discounts? I hope this makes sense! Any help would be greatly appreciated because she needs to pick it by Monday!!!

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts US, Inc. has instituted a new policy this year of only announcing Main Entrance Pass blockout dates on a three-month rolling basis.

As such, Main Entrance Pass blockout dates for October, 2010 will not be released until July, 2010.

Okay so actually then, does anyone know the blackout dates from last year for October. I know the chances are low but I really don't want them to come down when I can't get them in. The only reason they can come down is because I can get them in and a discount!

I don't have the 2009 Blockout Dates handy at the moment. However, in 2008, there were no Blockout Dates during the month of October at any Disney Parks site worldwide.

That is all subject to change, of course, and may not be the same in 2010.

Last year I only seem to recall black out dates during Spring Break/Easter week, 4th of July, and during some of the holidays like Christmas. I don't remember any black out dates during October.

If it is any sort of indicator at all, I can tell you that there are black out dates for the Disney Give a Day, Get a Ticket Program:

The theme park tickets distributed under this Program will not be valid for use on the following dates:
For Walt Disney World® Resort: March 29 - April 8 and July 4, 2010
For the Disneyland® Resort: February 13-14, March 21, June 21-22, July 4, November 21, and December 11-12, 2010.

The ticket is only good through December 15, 2010 so of course would not include the Christmas Holiday Season. I did think it was odd that it could be used on Thanksgiving day at WDW which is on November 25, 2010. Not sure what is going on November 21 or December 11-12 at Disneyland.

I currently have a Florida Resident Season Pass, and it lists the block-out dates for it on the back. The only ones listed for the fall season are December 19, 2009 - January 2, 2010.

Keep in mind, those dates are for last year...and also, it's a season pass' block-out dates...as opposed to a CM's block-out dates, but I figured they'd probably be about the same..............
