Blackout 10/29-11/11?

Hey all! Can't wait for my next trip in October. Staying at Coronado Springs with Dining on 10/28-11/4. Because our first night is 10/28, we were of course eligible for the FD. Just curious as to why this particular set of days are blacked out? Should I be looking forward to crazy crowds? Huge Conventions? I know it's during F&W, but that'll be going on for weeks. Thanks for any info!

I was thinking it was a combination of Halloween and Jersey Week. I am not sure when Jersey week is but I know it's some time in the first half of Nov.

Interesting. Well it looks like the NJ Teacher's Convention starts Nov 4, so perhaps it will be the following week everyone takes their kids out of school.

Yes that week is the busiest of that not busy time of year. Jersey week crowds start that Saturday the 3oth and build through the week. Many other northern schools also have days off that week because we start after Labor Day and that's when the quarter break falls. It will be busy for a slow time of year but nothing like Christmas busy. It's complicated too with very few Fantasmic nights and Wishes nights plus crowds every night for F and W. We tend to not be night people so it works out ok for us.
