Yes, that is a quirk. But "all the time" isn't exactly the case. These are mini-computers. They need to be treated as such. So, periodically, one needs to "reboot" the phone to clear fragmented memory. I do it once a week and that keeps it running smoothly.

Other than that, I love it.

Thanks for all the advice. Wound up getting the curve.

I'm glad someone mentioned that the World Edition was older. It wasn't really in the running for me, but I noticed the Curve seems much more responsive than the World Edition. I'll have to get used to the keyboard, but I do like it. As much as an iPhone, no. But it seems to be a good phone.
