Blackberry Question

So I just got my first Crackberry. I made my hubby a buddy on the Blackberry Buddy chat thing, but he says we would get charged for texting. We both have the basic crackberry plan with email and internet. But wouldn't that be part of the internet usage? I have no clue about this Blackberry stuff and am just stating to learn.

Now I have some more questions. This thing has me so confused.


I have the 8330 Curve. Is there a way that I can delete emalis without opening them?

Where can I get the Opera browser? I hate the Verizon one. In fact I can't get it to load any internet pages. Am I missing something?


I can't look at the manual right now because I am at work now and the drive in this computer is broken. the tips book doesn't say much.

Ok, the Blackberry Messenger is free, you do not get charged for texting.

To delete an email, highlight the email you're talking about (using the little nubbin). Then hit the "freckle" button (The one with a bunch of little dots to the left of the nubbin). A menu should pop up and then you can select delete.

Opera is awesome. Go to mini.opera.com on the blackberry browser and it will help you. If you can't get a page to load, go to this http://www.opera.com/mini/download/ from your computer and you can get it to text you a link.

To delete emails and texts you can also just hit the delete button and then confirm it with the enter button right below it.

I love my BB!

I have been checking out the crackberry.com site as well as blackberryforums.com. My head has been spinning. lol. So much to learn. No wonder they call it the Curve, there's a huge learning curve with it. hehe.
