Does anyone know if there is wifi throughout Disneyland or California Adventure. We would like to use our iTouch apps (don't have an iPhone yet). If not we will have to use DS's Blackberry while in the parks.

That being said, does anyone have any Favorite apps for DL for either a Blackberry or iTouch?? We have a few for WDW but none yet for DL. We are looking especially for something with reliable ride times although we'd love to hear what you all love in addition to that.

Last summer we used Verizon's Mobile Magic for our enV2 in WDW and it was great.

There is no free wifi at DL or DCA. There is wifi at the parks, but those are the CMs wifi which has passwords. The only place to get free wifi is at the DLR hotels (GCH, DLH, & PPH). If you are around the GCH, you can get free wifi around the hotel.

There are a lot of different apps that people like to use at the park. I like to use the DL TP, Mousewait and DL iGuide Walkee apps. I have a smartphone and a itouch. The only time I use the itouch is when I am around the GCH and use the wifi. The Mousewait app is one of the most popular apps that a lot of people would use for the ride wait time. I like to use the DL TP app the most, even though it is not accurate, it does give you an idea of what the wait time would be like for those rides.

Correct, there is no wifi in the parks.:sad1:I downloaded a couple of apps on my ipod touch thinking that it would be useful for wait times in the park but couldn't access them because there was no wifi. I then thought this would be a useless app but I did use it for the maps and to find restrooms, etc. So the apps are ok but you won't be able to access wait times for them. :sad2:

Yeah, no free wifi in the parks. Weird, I know.

I have a Blackberry, you can use mobile web browsing to access Mousewait (not the app). Mousewait has pretty accurate wait times and is free. You can download the Lines app from TouringPlans, but it has a subscription fee. Ridemax also has a beta mobile web version of its software, but it also has a fee.

HTH! :goodvibes

If you do a search for Disneyland apps you will find many threads on this subject.

Although there is no free wifi @ Disneyland, I was able to get wifi for my ipod touch at the Blue Bayou restaurant. Could have been a fluke, but I took advantage while I could. :)
