My new Droid Incredible is here and I have been trying to get backup assistant on my Curve so I could back my contacts up. I have been on the phone with Verizon half the day and we cannot figure out why I cannot get this program on my Curve.

So they want me to export my contacts from Outlook (I don't have them backed up there yet, I just have a backup file on my home computer) to a .csv file and then import them to gmail.

My question is, as silly as it may sound, if I de-activate the Curve, will I still be able to sync the contacts with my Outlook at home? I have a slow day at work and really want to play with my droid now and not wait until I get home to export the contacts off the Curve.TIA

Once your blackberry is deactived it wont sync. You could still take it to your local verizon store & they *SHOULD* be able to transfer them.

Thanks. I will try that on my way home. If they can't then I will just re-type my contacts. Not sure I even talk to half of these people anymore anyway.

I do have a backup file of my contacts on my computer, not sure if I could get that into outlook or not. I guess I could try that.
