Blackberry apps, which are your favorite.

Of course I use facebook alot. Gmail apps is great and a few games to play. I love cribbage and KaGloom.

What do you have on your blackberry and is it free or did you buy it? I have yet to pay for an app.

I have a Storm, and I use UberTwitter, the Opera mini browser, and Weather Bug most. I haven't found a game that I love; I've tried a few but usually delete them after a few times. I wish I could find a good Sudoku game.

I usually use Facebook and then the web browser to get to CNN & weather.com.


I really haven't found a good game yet for my Storm.

Bing or Live Search whatever it is called lets you search restaurants, shopping, hotels, etc., in a town. Very handy. It shows maps and gives directions.

Hmmm...I don't have that. I just use the generic google that was pre-installed. Going to get it now

I have ShortCovers...it is an e-book service. I like it, but it has limitations in that the books are not downloaded, so you have to have data access to read. I can't use that south of the border. BUT I can also go to their website and discretely read at work and my bookmark travels with it between a PC log in and my Blackberry.

I love my Weather Network app, (CDN version of the Weather Channel), and my Food Network app (again CDN version), and I have Bejewelled.

I tried to get the Disney app but surprise surprise - doesn't work outside the U.S.


Having an "in" I told DH to tell someone at RIM that I want a "virtual slap app" for those crappy days.

One of my co-workers said there is a good Twilight app

Force Radio On forces your BB Radio on if the battery is to low
Callsblocker lets you create a list of blocked numbers or range of numbers from ringing your Blackberry
Midpssh Great Terminal Program for SSH and Telnet (Geek)
Podtrapper Great media Player and is my Podcast app. this will also go out and download large files that the BB will not let you download normally. (Paid app, but worth it $9.95)

One other thing EVERYONE should know, even if you have an Iphone/Android/BB, is that Google Maps (Mobile) sends back your speed and location back to Google everytime you or an App use the "my location" function of GMaps. They use this information for publishing traffic information to Google Mobile Maps. I am sure they are also getting ready to either sell this data and/or use it for targeted marketing. Google says it sends this info anonymously, but that is what they say. I am sure there is an IMEI or a SIM # or a UID in there somewhere so they can track your speed. This info could also be sold to, let's say Disney, to see customer traffic patterns, Customer flow and ding, ding, ding, wait times at a ride by following your entrance and exit coordinates. Big Brother is watching!

you can do a search and download it. Just search for blackberry app store.
