Blackbeard or Blue Lagoon for Stingrays?

Am I correct that there are 2 different excurssions to see Stingrays at Nassau?
If so which is the better experience? I thought I read that at Blue Lagoon that it is an enclosed area? Is this correct? I would prefer an open sea experience like I've done before at Grand Cayman.

We were supposed to go on the Blackbeard's Excursion in Nassau but due to high winds they cancelled it.

My son wants to see the "great big portobello mushrooms" too so I will be watching this thread. I didn't know that there were two different options though. The only thing I saw was the Blue Lagoon/Stingray excursion...

We did Blackbeard Cay and it was awesome. It was an enclosed area (although very large). You could swim around and infact, could be off on your own to a degree. We liked the whole experience and would definately do this again!
