Black women's pant suit-okay for formal night?

I have decided (hopefully) on a crepe black pant suit for formal night. I am thinking that if I "dress it up" with appropriate shoes and accessories it should be okay......am I on the right page?

I saw lots of dressy pants suits on formal night on my last cruise. I don't know about Disney Cruise line, but it should be the same. I was cracking up laughing at your discussion title, because I said to myself, "What kind of pant suit do we wear that's different?" See, I am a black woman Get it?

I'm glad I'm not the only one...I was thinking what's a "black" womens pantsuit and how does it differ from a white womens! LOL

Thought I was the only one who would notice the order of the adjectives. I’ll have to ask my SIL who majored in English why it made it difference and brace myself for the 30 minute explanation.

Since I wore a black dressy pants suit on both our Disney cruises, I knew right off what she was talking about.
Our first 7-night cruise I took the pants suit and a long red dress, but on our second one I just took the pants suit and wore it both nights. You only need to be dressed formally for dinner, so I didn't think anyone would mind if I wore it both formal nights. We always changed into casual clothes after dinner, to go to the show and late-night entertainment. It was nice to be able to pack one less formal outfit.

Okay, okay, I realized the error of my ways shortly after sending this post. Of course, I didn't expect the razzing! HA! The scary thing is I write for a living. I guess that is what happens when you are moving your fingers as quick as you can to pop of a post in the middle of the work day!
