Black Friday Predictions: Blu-ray Players with Netflix at $69, Movies at $5-$10

I hope. I want a blu ray with Netflix for my bedroom. Tired of watching on my computer. DD has a TV with Wii in playroom and a TV with Playstation in her room, but I'd prefer to watch in my room. Hope Best Buy is a part of it as I have $30 in rewards I can use.

also would love for my bedroom and living room...we just started w/netflix, and we either watch downstair thru the wii, my husband watches mostly thru the computer, but i'd like it for the living room and or bedroom!!

Based on what happened, last year - namely, the Magnavox Blu-ray player for $78 at Walmart and the Sony for the "low $100s" at Target - I fully expect some top-notch players to be priced at/under $75...

As Blu-ray movies go, my own predictions (based on past trends) are some of summer's big hits (Iron Man 2) to sell for $15, while the ones currently retailing for $15 may be the ones to get marked-down to $5.

I really need to get my aunt hooked on Netflix, she's always spending money on DVDs, even though they're mostly 5$ ones and she does watch them numerous times, she's taking a huge hit to the wallet every time she walks into wal-mart or target. And most those 5$ movies are the ones that stream instantly from Netflix.
I've finally gotten to see how cool it really is, and how fast the movies get there, when coming by mail.

I am betting the "absolute lowest" prices will apply to the following brands of Blu-ray players:

• Best Buy - Insignia
  
• Target - Memorex
  
• Walmart - Magnavox

All are manufactured by Funai, who manufactures many store-branded electronics and a few less-familiar name brands such as Magnavox and Sylvania.
