Do you guys think that the Nintendo 2ds at $79 is a good deal?? We are planning on getting one for DS birthday, and I don't know if I should buy it, or wait until black friday??

It is a good deal, especially if you are only looking for a 2DS and not a 3DS.

Nintendo is releasing a new 3DS system called.....New 3DS. It is out in Japan now and will be released to other countries over the next year.

It will have games made for it that only play on the New 3DS. Is the system going to replace the 3DS/2DS? Or will it be like the DSi (an update the the original DS) and only have a handful of games made exclusive to it? Time will tell.

Did anyone get the 2ds? I got out of stock since midnight and it's $129 in store. I'm a bit ticked off. I tried 3 different devices to see if it was a cookies issue and got the same on all.

I think that Walmarts site is messed up. I tried adding it to my cart, and it let me. When to check out, claims nothing is there. Reload and add to cart again, now I have two in my cart and it let me check out. I got as far as hitting 'submit' on that. That was just now 6:25am.

I'm tempted to try and take part in some of the online deals you guys have this year. I will be offsite for a Disney trip from the 7th to the 14th of December so I could conceivably have some things shipped to the resort (they allow that for a fee). I just worry that it won't be enough shipping time. It would be a giant pain for items to not come before we leave to go home. Paying to get them home to Canada at that point would more than wipe out the savings. Not sure it's worth the risk.

If it's free shipping, sometimes it can take almost 2 weeks. Some companies send stuff for free shipping in 3-5 days.

I think you need to know the shipping policies. Someone posted a Cabelas deal elsewhere and I ordered an item with free shipping. It was ordered Nov 2 and will arrive Nov 14 - 12 days. I think you would have a problem if something got backordered.

The Target Cartwheel app has a different toy for 50% off everyday in November. Yesterday it was a Nerf Zombie Blaster thing. Today it's toys from the movie Planes. They aren't publishing the list (as far as I know!) so you have to check the app every day.

The Cartwheel 50% off item today is Pound Puppies in case anyone has those on their list.

I was able to get it by choosing the pick up in store option. It's a 25 minute drive, which is not bad.

Thank you. I will take your advice and read the shipping terms closely and then decide if it's worth paying for quick shipment. If it's on a higher priced item and the savings are good it might be worth it, but I think I will have to just buy the littler things like pyjamas and make up or books etc. at home.

Right now, Target has kids and family pajama sale, buy 1 get one 50% off online. I grabbed my 8yr olds a pair of Avengers and pair of Frozen Anna both w/fleece bottoms for $23 after tax. (Shipping was free) I'm sure they'll go lower for Black Friday but I was happy to have that out of the way for a decent price. They also have matching family sets, pretty decent selection.

I think it must have been a timed event, maybe three or five days. It was right on the front page of the website (I got an email). It's not there anymore. I'm sorry you missed it. Im sure they'll have more.

I like Moosejaw for North Face. The discounts aren't steep - no one really discounts those - but if you watch for a bonus-points offer their reward program can really pay off. Their base reward is 10% but last year for either Black Friday or Cyber Monday they had a 50% points promo... So while I paid the full $160 for DD's North Face 3-in-1 jacket, I ended up with $80 in points that later paid for matching gloves and a base-layer shirt. Plus Ebates included Moosejaw in their double-cash-back deal for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, so I got $16 back from them as well. It is a little more complicated than just looking for a good sale but worth it to get the exact jacket she wanted (which never seems to go on sale anywhere).
