Black Friday in North Conway, NH?

I'm thinking of heading up to North Conway, NH for the Thanksgiving weekend. That means I would be near the Settler Green Outlets, Christmas Tree SHop and Wal-mart on Black Friday.

Has anyone ever done the North Conway outlet/Wal-mart on Black Friday? I'm looking for deals and crowd information. Thanks!

I live here in the valley, so I avoid black friday in N.Conway like the plague! I can't tell you how the deals will be, but there are usually lots of big sales at the outlets and extra discounts for the weekend.

Traffic and crowds will be very heavy. The weekends here have been very busy all season.

I usually go to the Valley every Columbus Day Weekend (Except the last two) How do the crowds Thanksgiving compare with this weekend?

Also, if you don't mind telling me what, if anything is open on Thanksgiving Day? I'm debating on arriving on Wednesday or Thursday.

My husband went there a few times at midnight on Black Friday. There are several outlets open at Settler's Green at that time. Unlike South Portland, ME (where I go at midnight), the outlets in North Conway are not busy at that time of night.

Oh boy, I never go up at midnight, but I'm not surprized that it isn't super busy. We don't have any of the big box stores here.

I would say the crowds are similar to Columbus Day weekend. The worst part is the traffic coming in and out of town at the begining and end of the weekend.

My mom and I walk around Settler's Green in the morning for excersize. I will try to pay attention to the sales signs and keep you updated.
