And it really was "The Black Friday Trip", none of the lows really reflects on DLRP, there were a couple of very, very small DLRP related issues but I WIll do a trippie and elaborate this time :lmao:

HIGHS

Tarzan, WOW! never seen this before and it was spectacular, we all loved it, and that is saying something :goodvibes
Salon Mickey, the staff in here excelled themselves, and despite being unable to enter on Bastille day , the other days made up for that....and the staff were perfect :goodvibes
The gardens, le pays des contes de fees, all of adventureland [which was looking so spruce :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes]
Walts and Blue lagoon :thumbsup2
Lake Disney [never been in summer before and this was the best bit of the whole holiday] :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:
All the cms everywhere, except Jennifer in Walts [will try to remember to do trippie and elaborate on this :furious:
The food.......we had such good food, maybe we were lucky, but honestly, really good throughout :goodvibes

DREAMS......OMG! but also see lows :worried:

LOWS

So many lows and really none of them to do with Disney :scared1:
DH missed flight from Shetland for DS's graduation and we had to pay for another flight to Edinburgh and for him to bus through to Glasgow :sad2:

Taking wrong DS's suit down for said graduation and having to run out and buy new suit first thing :sad2:

My shoes breaking after buying new suit and with literally 5 mins till graduation [see trippie !!!!]

DS1 being pickpocketed.

DH booking Ryan air and forgetting we needed luggage :scared1:

Missing train on way home  and being late for work !

:worried:

Waiting for Dreams and having soooooo many people push in after it had started....then trying to move to see at least some of the display to then be told by DS1 that we were behaving exactly as the people who had pushed in, infornt of us  so we went back to where we were originally and really really couldn't see it......and if I walked in front of you trying to see after waiting for ages.....I am soooooooo sorry :worried::worried:still feel bad about this

BUT MOSTLY>>>>>>>>>>>>>NOT HAVING ENOUGH TIME!"!!!!!!!!!! AND ALSO NOT HAVING A LITTLE ONE [ie. not teenager or older] to enjoy some aspects of the park with me :worried:

OVERALL

It was a great trip with some logistical nightmares and not enough time :(. DLRP was the best presented and most exciting I have seen yet :goodvibes

Kaye

Roller coaster trip or what looking at that lot :scared1:

How was your lunch on Sunday and did you walk it to the ET or not ? ;)

Look forward to the TR :goodvibes

Hi Carrie, your advice was invaluable, we bought RATP [hope thats right!] passes for the day, went into Paris saw Notre dame [although queues too long to go inside] Eiffel tower, Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. That island was beautiful :goodvibes. There were loads of canal and river boats and lots of art work , infact it was just lovely [although I had so little time in Disney, I would have been as happy to stay there :sad2:] but thank you carrie, your advice helped a lot :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

WOW sounds like a mad trip. Hopefully it all went well in the end.

I forgot to add luggage with Flybe in Dec last year when my mum and I went to DLP and they wanted £200 extra each:scared1:. Needless to say I phoned DH up to get back to the airport with smaller bags and changed/reduced what we had so we just had carry on bags. At the time a nightmare, but very funny to look back on!:rotfl2:

Looking forward to reading your trip report.

Hope you had a great time despite the problems! I remember seeing the Tarzan Encounter when my grandparents took me when I was younger, it's one of my most vivid childhood memories! I'm a bit disappointed though, because it finishes two weeks before I go! :(

I was quite lucky with Dreams when I went over Easter weekend, we managed to get a spot on the railings so we didn't have to go through all the pushing and shoving :goodvibes I'm hoping it will be quieter in September, though!

Welcome back! What a nightmare day for you - hope the graduation ceremony itself was less stressful and glad the great DLP trip made up for the problems. :goodvibes

Can I ask how the Salon Mickey staff excelled themselves? I mean, they were perfectly pleasant when we were there but we never got the chocolate pastries and one day there was no food at all and this was before 11. It is lovely to be able to bypass the queue waiting to enter the park though and it feels very special to knock on the door and go straight in. We did get in on the 14th so I hope we weren't one of those keeping you out on that day! :guilty:

Welcome back Kaye :wave2: sounds like you need a rest!

Glad you enjoyed DLP and hope your DS's graduation went well. :goodvibes

Looking forward to reading all about it in your trippie.
