Black Friday drink packages

I mean they don’t charge for Coca-Cola products. Other cruise lines charge for these drinks.

You can get a soda package for a few dollars if soda is that important. It hardly justify's paying thousands more for a cruise.

I think the point is that everyone seems to be so busy comparing Disney to RCCL, they forget to compare RCCL to other like lines (like Carnival, NCL, MSC, or heck even Celebrity/HAL/Princess/Virgin Voyages).

For instance, we are doing a Viking River cruise next summer that includes air. The weeklong price for that trip is under $6,000 and includes an excursion at each stop.

Around $5,500 for both of us!

That's awesome. I'll have to check it out.

Good friends have done Viking and enjoyed their cruises + excursions BUT not the occasional low river levels causing boat and itinerary changes.

p.s. - high river levels also cause issues due to low bridges -- oops

Royal Caribbean Black Friday deals start tomorrow (11/7)! I was on the website looking to take advantage of the one-day-only extra rewards day with the Royal Caribbean Visa and book some stuff for my upcoming cruise. Of course the prices on just about everything went up since yesterday. Then I noticed the "Black Friday coming soon" message with the countdown to midnight. I'd definitely rather save some money than get a few more measly points.
