So we aren't planning to do a lot of shopping this year. Finances are tight and we already purchased most of our gifts for others last month. But there are already some great deals live on most online retailers sites already. No need to head to the stores tonight.

I got Finding Dory blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD pack for $10 on Target.com. They also had The King's Speech blu-ray for $3 so I grabbed that too.

We also got 3x Amazon Echo Dots from Staples.com for $80.67 using a Visa checkout deal ($25 off $100) and the Amex deal ($20 off $100).

What have you gotten either online or in store?

I got a really nice $200 gaming headset for my husband for $57 at best buy (had a $50 gift card to put towards it), a pair of $200 Uggs for $62 at Nordstrom Rack, and a pair of $89 Bearpaw boots for $27 at Nordstrom Rack. All online!

I don't even know why stores have to be open on Thursday. I got everything online including all the doorbusters. I'm going to run to half price books tomorrow and to michaels and five below tonight, but my need to go to the bigger stores is nonexistent with everything being online. Kohls, TRU, walmart and target had everything online. It was easy and I was done by 11:30 last night.

I hit up amazon for two ps4 video game and a controller for my ds. I also ordered a video game from Bestbuy also for my ds.

The one order that is giving me problems is Kohls! I tried the other day to order a 5qt. Kitchen aid stand mixer. They cancelled that order. Then I tried to order it this morning using my kohls card. Cancelled again. So I tried to order it with my chase card and it went through but I'm not holding my breath until it says shipped. I think it was a good deal but I might be applying funny math to convince myself that it is.LOL!!!

It's listed for 329.99-49.50 (save15 discount code)-50.00 (MIR)=230.49+24.00(tax)=254.49-75.00(kohls cash)(this is where my funny money math comes into play)=179.49

either way I needed a new one. My old white one is over 13 years old and leaking oil.

I bought a tv for my bedroom at Costco.com this morning. Samsung 50 in 4k smart tv for $389.99. It's not on their site anymore as it sold out. It was in the store itself yesterday for $449.99 and I thought that was a decent price so I was surprised to find it lower this morning. I was going to buy it in store this weekend.

I bought an easy bake oven online at target for 29.99. The best part is I used a gift card reward from my credit card and paid 0.

I am going out tomorrow, as a few items are not door busters. So hopefully they will still have some of the items. I need an electric juicer, and a new food processor.

I got Finding Dory at Target, once they made it available online for in-store pickup. I had a gift card I wanted to use but I also wanted the 5% off for having a red card, so I waited it out to see if it would be made available online - luckily it was.

I also got a George Foreman Grill at Kohl's to replace the one I ordered during the Veteran's Day Sale that was lost by UPS. After $10 off coupon, the 15% off and a $10 rebate, a large grill will end up costing me just $8.

I studied all the store ads for weeks leading up to today, and those were about the only two items I wanted. Except I would have liked to pick up a few $1 poinsettias at Home Depot like I usually do, but we had to catch an early flight home this morning after an unexpected trip for a family emergency and it just wasn't in the cards for me this year.

My goal was to get the some of the $99 iPad mini 2's (for kids), $99 iPod Touch (for kids) and a $99 Apple watch (for me!!) that Nebraska Furniture Mart had on sale, but only ended up with some of the iPods :sad2: Deals at other places did not seem as good this year.

Not nearly as much as I have in previous years. I got a premium laptop for $100 off that doesn't normally go on sale. Bought some stuff from Pier 1, a small piece of non-sale tech and that was it. I looked at Amazon, found the piece of tech I wanted for <$11 (NORMAL priced, no sale) wanted to buy it and then Amazon said shipping would be $8(!). Went straight to the manufacturer's website & got it for the same price with free shipping. Tried to pick up a couple items under the Amazon deals category but it didn't total $49 so shipping was ~$16! $8 per item! I DON'T THINK SO. (What has happened with their shipping prices? I'll pay a couple bucks more for the items through Target later & get free shipping!)

So honestly I was disappointed. Last year we bought a lot from Target online and went crazy at Barnes & Noble (I think they featured a 40% off coupon last Black Friday, only 30% this year) but this year I just didn't see that many screaming deals. Happy to save the $100 on my laptop but disappointed the other deals for items I wanted were so "meh".

I picked up that TV today at my local Costco. I also got an assortment of blu rays and cds at Best Buy and Target and picked up some Hanukkah gifts at Target.

Well, somehow, I managed to buy two of them! Not sure how either. My email from Costco didn't arrive until much later and I've got two transactions!

It's a pretty good buy so I will see if someone wants one first and if not, I'll return one to my local store.

This year for the first time I did not go out on Black Friday. I didn't even shop online on Thursday or Friday. I did go to the store today and got 25% off of some Under Armour clothes for my teenage daughter and then went to Bergner's and bought two pairs of Napier earrings for 20.00 total which would have usually been around 40.00 total. So, a decent discount.
