Wow I searched Walmart first and couldn't find it..... you're good. It isn't the same one pictured, but it has the same features and same size, so I figure the price would be comparable. Thanks for finding this!

Your welcome.. just type in what you are looking for in google with walmart after it.. usually comes up easy that way.

I see the Flip camcorder on the Walmart list without prices but I don't see it on the list with prices. :confused3
My DS10 wants one, of all things, and I don't want to go broke getting one.
WE HAVE A FLIP VIDEO CAMERA AND FOR LOW QUALITY VIDEO IT'S OK BUT WE PREFER THE JVC WITH 30 GB HDD FOR SALE, ONE VERY SIMILAR IN WALMART AD THIS TIME. I NEED A MORE FORGIVING VIDEO CAMERA ONE THAT STABLIZES THE IMAGE AND IS BETTER QUALITY. THE FLIP IS GREAT FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY WITH AND SHOOT THINGS FOR FUNL

I think I'm going to have to head to Sears first. I can't get that $599 washer/dryer out of my head. My washer is almost 7.5 yrs old, and works ok, but my dryer came with a house we have long ago bought and sold, and I have no idea how old it is. It now takes 2 times through to dry jeans, and sometimes 3 times for towels, so laundry takes forever. We live in the city park, so hanging out clothes is NOT an option! (dh is park director) I have a dr's appt Monday, and I think I'll head to Sears and try to find out how many of them they'll have in the store. It is an hour from here (Sears and my dr), which is why I usually stick to Walmart, Dollar General, and Freds (here in my town) on Black Friday. But I really want that set!

I'm really glad I got the laptop a few wks ago at Walmart, since I haven't seen one that cheap since that weekend.

When do the actual store ads come out in the newspaper? Is it tomorrow or on Thanksgiving Day? It's hard for me to sit and read these lists; I prefer the real ad with the pictures and more description.

T Mobile
While many cell phone carriers will only be pushing handsets discounts to new customers on Black Friday; T Mobile's kicking it up a notch by offering a free companion airline ticket to new and existing customers. Any customer who signs up for a 2 year agreement between November 19th and December 24th will qualify for a no black out date companion ticket on top of the phone specials. Customers with family plans will be able to get up to 5 tickets, one for each line on the account, setting the stage for a few fun getaways in 2009.

Just a warning for anyone who might be tempted by this deal. DO NOT GO FOR IT! T-mobile offered this same deal last year and I still have not recieved my tickets. I was going to use the tickets for my trip in December but I ended up having to pay for them myself. T-mobile farms out the tickets to a third company who processes them. All they did was lose my paperwork. I had to call them numerous times to check the status of the tickets and they could never find my paperwork. This was when you could get someone on the phone. I sent it in three times. Now when it comes time to book the tickets you have to deal with another company, like a travel agent. Still waiting to hear something from them.

I have filed complaints with the BBB and my state's attorney general's office. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this deal. It is not worth the aggravation.

USUALLY THANKSGIVING DAY. BE CAREFUL WITH BUYING PAPERS, ESPECIALLY FROM MACHINES, SOME PEOPLE STRIP THE ADS FROM THE PAPERS ONCE THE DISPENSER IS OPEN......ALSO, OTHERS WHO ARENT INTERESTED, LEAVE THE ADS LAY AROUND ON TOP OF THE DISPENSER.

Target going to price match?????

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Extra/target-to-slash-prices-as-sales-slide.aspx

you read and decide.................

Target to slash prices as sales slide
After a 24% plunge in its third-quarter profit, the jumbo retailer promises to remain 'keenly focused' on offering low prices -- going toe to toe with rival Wal-Mart.

This By The Associated Press
Target (TGT, news, msgs) said it will aggressively cut prices to give consumers bargains during the holiday season, after weak sales of its apparel and home offerings led third-quarter earnings to fall 24%.

The discount retailer also said sales in established stores have been weak so far in November, and if that persists it expects fourth-quarter earnings below analyst expectations.

"The increasing financial challenges and economic uncertainties facing American households continued to pressure our performance during the third quarter," Chief Executive Gregg Steinhafel said during a conference call with analysts.

He also cited higher write-offs in the company's credit card business, where profit fell 83%. Target added $104 million during the quarter to a reserve fund to cover future write-offs as customers have trouble paying their bills.

The company has fared worse than its chief rival, Wal-Mart Stores (WMT, news, msgs), as consumers cut back on discretionary spending and shop mainly for necessities, since more than 40% of Target's revenue comes from nonessentials such as trendy fashions and housewares.

Last week, Wal-Mart said its third-quarter profit rose 10%, ahead of analyst expectations, as sales increased 7%.

During the holidays, Target will remain "keenly focused" on offering low prices on national brands and its own products and will match Wal-Mart prices on identical items in local markets, said Kathryn Tesija, Target's executive vice president of merchandise.

The company will also offer half a dozen "value items" online every day at special prices.

"We have taken a very aggressive point of view this year in terms of our promotional pricing, so we expect to be price leaders on selected items in our circular," Steinhafel said. "This is not unlike what we've done in the past. But given the current environment and recognizing how challenging it is, we will be even sharper than we have in prior years."

The Minneapolis retailer said profit for the three months ended Nov. 1 fell to $369 million, or 49 cents per share, from $483 million, or 56 cents per share, last year. That was just above the average of 48 cents per share predicted by analysts polled by Thomson Reuters.

Revenue rose 2% to $15.11 billion from $14.84 billion last year, falling short of the $15.24 billion analysts expected. Sales were helped by new-store expansion, but that was offset by sales in established stores, which fell 3.3% during the quarter.

MSN Money's Joseph Tirella visits a Target store for a peek at what the discount retailer is promoting for the holiday season. Standard & Poor's analyst Jason Asaeda kept his "hold" rating on the stock.

"We see Target doing a better job of communicating its value proposition to customers, but think store traffic will remain weak this holiday season and next year," Asaeda wrote in a client note.

Target said sales at stores open at least one year, a key retail metric known as same-store sales, are expected to fall 6% to 9% in November. If they keep dropping in the mid-single-digit range during the quarter, the company expects earnings of 90 cents to $1 per share. Analysts had been expecting a profit of $1.22 per share, and Target shares fell $1.35, or 4.1%, to close at $31.68 Monday.

Profit in its credit card business fell to $35 million from $202 million last year because of Target's lower investment in the portfolio, a decline in its overall performance because of higher bad-debt expenses and lower interest rates.

The company sold 47% of its credit card receivables to JPMorgan Chase (JPM, news, msgs) in May.

Target said it will stop most share repurchases for now and cut its 2009 expected capital expenditures by $1 billion, mainly due to a lower estimate of 2009 investments in stores that would have opened in 2010 and beyond.

"The current environment and our financial outlook have naturally reduced our appetite for investment in our business," Chief Financial Officer Doug Scovanner said in a statement.

Investor William Ackman, who heads Pershing Square Capital Management, which owns just under 10% of Target's common stock, has been pushing the company to do more with its assets. Earlier this year, Pershing pressured Target to make a financial move with its credit card receivables, and the company ended up making the deal with JPMorgan Chase.

Last month, Ackman proposed a plan to spin off a real estate investment trust that would take ownership of the land Target owns under its stores and distribution centers.

Target said it is still evaluating the proposal.

stolen from piratelady:

Here is my big tip, shopping carts get in the way, are hard to get around and are often gone when you need one. Go to the isle with the big plastic trash cans with wheels on them and use to put all your purchases in. It is easier to use than a cart and when you are done just tell the cashier you don't want to purchase the can, that they were out of carts. I do this every year and it works great.

Does anyone know if Sam's Club does anything on Black Friday? They have some great toys my son is interested in for Christmas.

Thanks!
