Black Friday border Crossing (and any other Tips!)

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with how backed up the border crossing may be on the Thursday afternoon (thanksgiving) so we can join in on our very first Black Friday shopping fun in Buffalo area? I plan on picking up my daughter at Brock Univ around 4pm on Thursday and head to either Rainbow or Peace Bridge crossing. Is there any website that might have history of crossing times or which crossing may be better than another? I want to do Target and kohls and my daughter wants to be at walden galleria for midnight opening. Will it be madness?! I think I will book the Millenium hotel in the parking lot of galleria so we can walk to mall and crash when necessary! Any tips will be helpful! Thanks
