Black Cherries

I love black cherries, but I tend to do the same thing to them that Vonabelle (aka Wagamama) does to gummy bears. I od on them. I wish someone would eat up the rest of the bag of them before my taste buds decide I need to eat s'more of them.

I have about a pound or so left, I'm trying hard to stay away from them. I ate too many of them tonight as it is. I wish you could help me be OD free on these, Vonabelle. They're so good too. Most of them are very sweet, there's a couple of them that aren't as sweet, but they're still yummy!

Black Cherries!!! YUMMY!!!!

I'm the only one that eats them in my house. I ate well over a pound last week. I'm working on a new bag of about two pounds this week and they are almost gone.

It is a once a year treat for me.

Did I say they are YUMMY!!!!

Luv black cherries too ~ Unlike other things I eat I never get tired of them no matter how many I consume!!!!!

we have a bing that are the very very dark cherries...two stella's that r a bright bright red and a napolean that is a medium red..........the bings are the best in my opinion.....they are getting cut down in a few months......they attracted the birds.....cedar waxwings and black starlings and then the fungus came one year.....and then the bugs the fungus and the birds all in the same time frame.....we did manage to get a few gallons of them this year.....not much when you have four trees.......those birds stripped two trees in one day......they know how to eat......then they had the runs.....it was worth it.....hehehe

I love black cherries too...hope they still have them when I go to the store this week, I want MORE!
DH planted three dwarf cherry trees, two dark and a tart. The neighbors have 5 larger cherry trees in their yard and they say to take empty egg cartons and cut the bottoms off, use the part that the eggs sit in, and tie them in various places throughout the trees. The birds hate them and will leave your cherries alone.
Keep the trees sprayed frequently throughout the season too to keep bugs away.
