My husband and I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for the past 10+ years. During the years we have noticed that the black bird population had increased. These birds were a nuisance and would eat your food from the tables by the pool, sit on the umbrellas, etc. But during our most recent visit (Fall 2010) the black birds were gone; does anyone know what happened to them?

You might want to also post this to the WL thread here.

The last time I stayed there over Christmas, I only noticed all the bats that had gotten into the lobby and were flying around us on club level:duck:

1) Unfortunately, this has gotten to be a problem.
2) They seldom go below the 7th floor.
3) Too stuck-up to hob-nob with the ordinary people, I guess. :)
4) But, they are out even during the day.
5) Especially around the lounge and the food on the tables.
