BL Challenge *RED* team week 7

I am actually going to be Princess Daisy for the Super Mario Brother games/show...lol. Maybe I'll post pictures...I'm a slightly heavy Daisy lol
 
Two Questions for Today (missed yesterday)

1.) What is your game plan for handling temptation over Halloween?

2.) What Disney character best embodies your new healthy lifestyle?

1) Well I'm no help because I plan to eat candy and candy and candy...:rotfl: But I'm being really focused with exercise this week. I just see it as part of life and I'm not going to avoid it at all.

2) Hmmmm. Well not Ursula. :lmao: :lovestruc Although I love her. She's great in a parade. Actuallly I love all them in the Halloween parade.
 
Halloween-- we're going to the gym. I'm not handing out candy (so there won't be any in the house.) DD will be out of town, so won't have any either. She needs to challenge with me....but she's been doing a great job by just cutting back a little (go to McD's, but get a hamburger and diet coke instead of a quarter pounder meal). At 17 that works......

Disney Character--I'm Belle in the blue dress. Nose in a book, all about facts, but one strong chick.

And now.....the news! I've been not whining, but I've been pretty consistently dropping one pound a week and feeling that I've been better behaved than that. Until today, it was week 7 and I'd lost 6 pounds. Ta da....today the scale says that I've dropped 3 this week! I'm happy! And that despite a crazy week that didn't get me to the gym the way I'd like to!

Congratulations! Isn't is so cool when something like that happens! You've done really well and should be proud of yourself! Keep up the good work!
 

Question of the Day - Thursday:

What are some creative ways to get more movement into your day?
 
Character costume--I was planning to wear DD's Snow White costume to a party a few nights ago (Princess and Super Hero Party). I was hotly informed that there was NO WAY I would be going out in public in that outfit. She quickly grabbed a green t-shirt and a marker and "made" me a Joker costume--black pants and a mask completed the deal. I still think Snow would have been better and she wasn't wearing it.

Creative movement...the usual--park far away and walk. Put away laundry (up and down stairs) during commercials. Hide the remote control. (My kids do this one for me.....) Drop off kid at piano lesson and walk while she has her class.
