Once again I have puzzed and I have puzzed until my puzzler is sore. The results are in. The tabulations have been made. Everything has been double checked for accuracy. And the biggest question is 'Will your name be on the list?'

We started the week with 142 participants. We had 6 new folks join us and 19 folks have been removed for not reporting for three weeks. So we are now at still at 129 participants.

The exodus has started. Yes they are dropping like flies. I have always said you will only get out of this challenge what you put into it. If you make the effort and use this as a tool of accountability this challenge can help you. Posting on your team thread can help you. Pour out your heart. Everyone is here to help you and we want you to be victorious in your weight loss battle.

Now let's get to the good stuff. Let's look at our Red Team Superstars.

Again keep in mind that if you skip a weigh in your percentage lost for the next weigh in is divided in half. That only seems fair doesn't it?

I still see folks active on their team threads that have not reported to me. Remember I need a weight report every single week no matter what the scale says. If you know you will be out of town or can not report a weigh in please let me know and I will note that on my spreadsheet. Of all our no reports this week only 1 let me know she would be gone.

Also I will plead again please state your weight for the week in the number of pounds you weight not just 'I stayed the same' or 'I lost 2 pounds'. I need the number or I will have to look it up and believe me I have plenty of other stuff to be doing.

Also again please report what team you are on and if you email me please include your DIS name. I hate to say I do not know all 128 of you personally yet.

And as usual keep in mind I am human. I do make mistakes. If you have a concern please PM or email me.

Hey gang numbers do not lie. Blue is really #1 again. Well what are you going to do about it? If your whole team works together it is possible to become #1. Those team bragging rights are nice but wouldn't your name look sweet is a special color as a superstar? You can do it. It's not easy but it is worth it. It's great to be a superstar but it is even better to see that number on the scale get smaller as you get smaller.

What is your plan? What are you going to do to claim that victory? You have the power to do anything superstar. Make every moment and every choice count. Get to work and start shining.

Woo Hoo I am a super star! Very exciting! I did 30 min on the tread mill tonight and at the 30 minute mark I had gone 1.98 miles! I am really trying to get to 2 miles in 30 minutes! I will try again tomorrow! Had all 6 + bottles of water tonight. My vegetarian friend made brussel sprouts and a salad for dinner. The salad was made of cabbage, onion, sliced almonds, ramen noodles and red wine vinegrette with some spices and a little sugar. Not sure on the points but think it was ok overall. I had 18 points going in to dinner and only had a 1 point ww icecream bar for dessert. Hope everyone else is doing well. I am also happy to report that I have parked in the farthest parking space everyday this week! Come on everyone! We are moving up in the world! We can get there if we really put forth a concentrated effort! We are the only team that has not come in first! We can do this! :cheer2:

Wow first place for me this week. Awesome! :) Congratulations to everyone else as well. Sadly, I don't think my weigh-in this week will be as good as last week. That usually happens to me though, I have a really big loss and then a week where I don't lose much, if anything. Next week should be better and hopefully I'll get that 50 pound clippie.

Checking in quick. Congrats to all is the superstars this week! I'm giving myself a pat on the back for being part of that list.

Handling temptations over the weekend - Tough thing to do some times. I did go out for dinner with my sister over the weekend and managed to order something healthy (not without some inner disputes over what I wanted vs. what I should get)!
Favorite Disney Villian - Cruella DeVil
Favorite type of exercise - I probably wouldn't be in this shape, if I had a favorite exercise. I am really enjoying my belly dancing class!

I am working on the COW (challenge of the week). I must say I am somewhat depressed after taking the Real Age test. I scored 71 years and I am only 55! Some of the hits were because I didn't know some of the numbers. I will get those and enter them and see if that helps. I sure hope there was something I answered incorrectly! I didn't think I was going to be young for my age, but I didn't expect to be over 15 years older!!! :confused:
Thank goodness I am doing something about getting some exercise and eating healthy. Hopefully, if I take the test again in a few months, it will look better!

Getting all my water each day, so I will meet that part of the challenge. Parked in farthest spot only once so far (better get on that one). Have 6000 steps challenge met. Can't remember any others offhand right now.

What is your favorite type of exercise?


Mine is definitely the elliptical. I used it a lot when I was a member at the gym but since I'm not anymore I'm using my recumbent bike, doing WATP or my BL dvd.

Congratulations this week's superstars! Way to go!!

Let's see... what question are we on now? Favorite type of exercise, I think. Currently I really enjoy the walk/run combo I have going on. I also am enjoying the Denise Austin DVD I've been doing. Wow - how odd that I can't pick just one favorite. That's just so cool! :)

I'm doing ok on the COW.The letter was harder than I expected, but it's done. I'm good with the water, but I've been a huge water drinker for years. I actually feel a bit guilty for getting points for doing something that's second nature to me. The 6,000 a day thing - not so good. I got them yesterday and today. I know I'll get them tomorrow too, but I have to send in my score today because I'll be out of town. The parking thing I only have 5 - because I've only gone out once. I think next week will be a better COW week for me.

I'll be in SoCal for the weekend at a company meeting. I should be able to do ok with food and water, and I'm hoping I'll get some exercise in too.

Hope y'all have a gret weekend, and remember - there's nothing wrong with getting through just 5 more minutes of a workout or one more minute without that brownie. It's all about choices, and they don't all have to be easy. Just do your best, and then do your best again. You'll end up exactly where you want to be! See you guys next week!

I'm in a fun challenge on another thread and it's on Wednesdays - finishes up next Wednesday. I got tired of doing two weigh ins. So I'm going to do Wednesday for at least this week to cut it down to one.

So I've got my loss for this week. It's .4 which is making me laugh. It's a loss. It's .4 never to be seen again. But it would be a "maintain" in my head if I was up .4 instead!!!! Two funny. :lmao: '

Anyway, I'm very pleased. Very. My period is coming any minute, I'm sick, I can't exercise at the same level because of that and I don't do well when I can't exercise to what I want. So .4 is heaven for me this week.

OH!!!!! Don't quit if anyone is thinking about it. I noticed that Brenda said BL particiipants are dropping like flies. Don't RED team. This is a journey for life. Not just BL. We will all have bad weeks. Everyone of us. That's life. Just hop back on and be there to tell me to hop back on!!!!!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting often, I've been dealing with a sick husband and sick kids. Amazingly I haven't gotten it so far this time around. *finger's crossed*

Food has been ok I think, I'm not keep track of it like I was. So that is soemthing I need to get back to doing.

Exercise has improved greatly since I got a gym membership last week and I plan to keep at it.
 
hellloooooo losers!!

i'm back to ohio now -- had a fab time at WDW -- ate way toooo much and the scale proved my hypothesis this morning. got my food journal back out and i've got to go full speed ahead b/c i'm going to log in a clip of a gain this week. i'm sry team...i'll give it my all to quickly get back to the weight i started at on this challenge! this is EXACTLY why i signed up and i feel the pressure of my BL team...and i'm up for it!!

i didn't have time to read all the posts i missed -- lots of re-entry to my life chorse to be done today.
 
Not a bad week. I got 90 points on COW 4, and really pushed the exercise. My favorite work out--none, What I do is the treadmill because I can watch TV/listen to music at the gym. I also think the elliptical is ok, but it kills my knees. I enjoy the challenge of going a little faster, a little longer, or whatever...just make the workout a little more than yesterday. Sometimes that means that I did my "normal" treadmill + some yard work. Other times it means pushing the treadmill. I've started inserting a couple 1-2 minute bursts of "running" (5 mph) into my more normal walking sequence, and the normal walk includes some elevations.

Sorry, that was too long.

YEAH red team....keep up the good work. Weigh in tomorrow!
